The EHCB Coaches Academy is an innovative program like no other, specifically aimed for basketball coaches. Partnering with the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education from University of Belgrade, the two bodies formed a curriculum aimed to teach the fundamentals of basketball coaching and introduce them to the EHCB members. For 6 months starting in December 2022 until June 2023 coaches will receive online lectures including: General Academic Lectures, Basketball Academic Lectures and the EHCB Members Online Lectures.

The EHCB member coaches accumulate together over 300 seasons as head coaches across 14 different countries all around the globe. Together, they have won more than 20 Euroleague Championship titles, more than 200 National Championship titles, an additional 12 international club championships, two national world championships trophies, five European Championship trophies and one Olympic Gold Medal. Our mission is to transfer our EHCB member’s coaching knowledge and experience accumulated over many years at the highest levels, to future generations of coaches from all over the globe.

The prestigious Basketball Coaching College Belgrade is now available for everyone around the globe since the classes will be lectured in English.  The founder of that coaches college Prof. Aleksandar Nikolic founded it to educate coaches in Yugoslavia amongst them being coaching legends like Bozidar Maljkovic, Dusan Ivkovic and current EHCB President Zeljko Obradovic. The EHCB with its founding principle to educate future coaches takes it global now.

This online learning platform will allow participants to participate from anywhere online. Participants will receive an academic transfer of knowledge combined with masterminds coaches knowledge from the EHCB members. The transfer of knowledge will be threefold by the academic professors from the university of Belgrade, by the EHCB members and between the participating coaches from around the globe. The program will cultivate at the annual 2023 EHCB Coaches Congress for in person sessions including panel discussions, on-court masterclasses and networking evenings together with participants from all over the globe. The format of program promises an unbelievable network, first-class knowledge from the best basketball coaches in the world and an experience that coaches they will never forget. An EHCB certificate will be given to all participants at the end of the EHCB Coaches Academy.

For the first two generation of the EHCB Coaches Academy we had welcomed more than 250 participants from more than 50 countries around the globe. Participants came from different coaching backgrounds from senior or youth coaching and also having different positions as head coaches, assistant coaches, scouts, conditioning coaches and also management staff. The overall satisfaction rate from the participants with the EHCB Coaches Academy first generation was above 90%.
